It is my goal to educate those who are interested in more healthful and joyful way of living, and to find ways to create awareness, balance, empowerment, harmony and peace within each day of our lives.
Massage Therapy, Stretching, Proper Nutrition and Activity are a great start. However, there are many more facets and components of the healing process. There is much to learn within the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our lives. If something is out of balance in the latter three, it may manifest as a disruption in the physical form. For instance, stress that creates ulcers, procrastinating a dreaded task or discussion that creates a headache, or feeling the "weight of the world on your shoulders" that results in literally tight shoulders!
Please use this site as a "launch pad" in your own discovery of self-care, to guide you in making sound choices that can benefit you~ body, mind and spirit.
I give many examples and stories from my own life, as well as from countless books, stories and quotes from others. These are all simple suggestions that may or may not suit your individual needs. You may choose to use that which resonates with you and simply discard the rest.
The information that I provide is nothing substantially different than suggestions from books, magazines, etc. For some suggestions, you may want to check with your primary health care practitioner.
