For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action.
The body always
finds a way to balance itself; many times this may actually
create an
imbalance in the musculature, and therefore in the spine
itself. Photo #2 is
pretty close to 'ideal' posture for standing.
Keep in mind that shoulders and hips should be level.
If you are looking from the side, your ear should be over
your shoulder,
shoulder over hip, hip over knee, knee over ankle.
Please see the following sections for more information which
cover the
importance of proper posture, and how such a subtle aspect
of our lives can
assist in optimal health and well-being,or cause dysfunction when
we lack it.

Animals/Massage
I have enclosed some photos of various stages of massage for animals. I have
enjoyed helping animals as much as their humans.even at a young age, as you
can see! (#2) I have demonstrated for my students with my special
dog, Angus (#3, #8), calmed down my rambunctious pup, Caden (#7) as well as
to mellow out my cat Freckles (#4). I gently approached this majestic
Clydesdale who wouldn't let many of the others pet him, and he nuzzled me to
massage his head longer!(#5). And I was approached by these 2 ponies and
began doing Myofascial Release on their heads, which resulted in me getting
my knee kissed!(#1, #6)
I would be happy to teach you how to massage your pet to help them release
any tension in their muscles as well. Particular prone are the hips of
larger dogs. You could set this up as a 15-30 minute session.
Please go to the "Self Empowerment" section to the corresponding titles of
these photos.
The goal of this section, essentially, is to help you find ways to empower
yourself, which is a key step in the healing process. It is also to help you
expand your horizons and increase your self-esteem. Give these examples and
many more. There are countless others that you will be able to come up with
for yourself that will catch your interest.
